Me, at the end of my last post: I'm gonna cover the new stuff on my blog sooner rather than later. I promise not to take fifteen weeks to get to it. Or even more than a few days. I have a lot to say.

American Girl Outsider is the toy and doll blog of a often loud, sometimes annoying Gen X/Millenial black pagan queer.

I'm an American Girl (and other toy/doll) collector who generally can't stand a good portion of the AG fandom away from my little corners of it, for this or that reason. This is a one-femme show that discusses everything from new stuff, old stuff, stuffy stuff, and the problematic issues surrounding doll and toy fandoms: here we snark, review, and play. I'm also the admin and founder of the A*G Wiki, Absolute Hairdorables Wiki, and American Girl Collectors forum.

This blog contains sharp opinions, reviews, factual facts, actual knowledge about history, researched shit, snarky takes on stuff, and loads and loads of cursing. Proceed on your own merits, cause your feels don't come first. Mine do. I make it a personal mission to use the word "fuck" at least twice for many posts, so this blog is Rated R for Really Big Bitch. I am Too Loud, Too Reckless, and Too Ghetto.

If you like what I have to say, spread the world and stay around; like and subscribe for more soft pastel femme-butch toy collecting queerness. If you hate what I have to say, go read something else, there's a bunch of everything on the internet. You could be using this time to do literally anything else. Hatereading is still reading. If you don't like me, why are you here?

If you are not at least Gen X or Early Millennial, this blog is likely not for you. Judge accordingly, if you're mature enough then read on but understand this space isn't for people who can answer the "GotY of my Birth Year" question. I'm not going to tone my shit down for people whose birth years start with a 2. Stay outta grown folk business if you can't act right.

If you are under 13--hell, under 18--none of this blog is for you even if it does say American Girl in the title and discusses new hot toys. I'm writing for people 18 and older in toy fandoms--really, like 25+ at the lowest end with a few exceptions, and even that's potential side eye if we don't have a rapport and/or you can't act right. But 13? Infant. Baby. Child. You shouldn't be on the internet unsupervised at all anyways. Go find your parents and guardians, go to another site, and get off my areolas. This blog is not for children's eyes. I Talk To and For Grown Ass Folk.

I am not affiliated with American Girl, LLC (or any other companies I post about). If and when people send or give me anything for free, I'll admit it upfront and review it honestly. I buy most of my own stuff, and I almost always take my own pics unless there's no way to do it or it's catalog pics. Some pics not my own are here for the commentary, not gonna lie. I also scan, screen cap, and use website/catalog pics, especially after the nearest AG store closed.

Put on your big people pants before you comment--if you say dumb things, you're gonna live with it. Being on the net means owning your words.
